Vietnam Red Cross Images

Through a tip from a friend, I was able to get in contact with someone who is looking for images of urban development in Saigon / fringe environments in the urban landscape and anything 'development' wise.

In 1998, Hong and I worked on a project for the International Red Cross / Red Crescent. The project was a study of vulnerability in South Vietnam - along the Mekong - and in the urban areas of Saigon. The photographs were meant to document not only the work they were doing, but also the Vietnamese and those that were living literally on the edge and in the darkest parts of Saigon's back water neighborhoods. It was a part of Saigon that I hadn't seen as close but was all around.
