Just got up early and went up to Skyline. The NW is full of great vistas and most cities around here have some sort of distant feature, usually a volcano, that they can see. Seattle has Mt. Rainier, the Olympics and the Cascades - as well as the Puget Sound. Portland has Mt St Helens and Mt Adams and Mt Hood, Rainier from some places on the right day, as well as Jefferson and the sisters from equally advantageous view points.
